Quarrying (KMQ).

KMQ. has only been in existence since 2013.  However, after KMQ's initial performance, with the mining and stockpiling of clay at the West End Clay Brick & Roofing quarry in 2013, the company secured a 5 year contract at Drift Laezonia for the following activities:

  • Load and haul blue rock
  • Cut and stockpile over-burden
  • Load and stockpile G5 aggregate

During KMQ's short existence, as is tradition in the Group, it attained to move an incredible average of 120 000 tons of material per month at the West End Clay Brick & Roofing, and 150 000 tons of material at the Drif Leazonia quarries.  KMQ complete these with the use of multiple 30 ton dumpers, a 50 and 49 ton excavators, Front End Loaders and other large plant owned by KMQ.
During 2014, KMQ secured an additional 5 year contract at Drif Super Sand Quarry for the following activities:

  • Load and haul blue rock
  • Cut and stockpile of  aggregates
